A reading room cannot hear your voice. Recovery asks for that.
Find an A.A. meeting through Alcoholics Anonymous, or install the Meeting Guide app published for that purpose. Local intergroups listed there will know which meetings are open, which welcome newcomers, and which are online.
How to enter
You do not need to speak. You do not need to believe every word you hear. Arrive a few minutes early if you can. Say that you are new if someone greets you. If you want a phone number, ask for one before you leave. If the first meeting feels wrong, go to another. The fellowship is wider than one room.
If your suffering is about someone else’s drinking, look at Al-Anon and Alateen.
This site does not list meetings, because lists go stale and because AA already keeps them. Use the official tools, then come back here when you want to read.
